Pet Psychic, Animal Communicator, and Holistic Nurse Healer Patti Anastasia shared her beginners "101" class with an interested audience tonight at the Flint Public Library in Middleton MA.
She discussed how animals communicate energetically and telepathically, and that sending mental images and messages to your pet can be a way of learning quite a lot together.
Pets can absorb the energy of the owner and the household, and often need help to energetically balance. However, the challenge of understanding their resulting behaviors can be difficult.
Animals find comfort in the roles they have. In the family, just as in a pack, animals appreciate knowing the rules and what their jobs are. They also appreciate when their owners make the effort to communicate with them "on their level."
Patti shared a Guided Meditation on the energetic shifts animals commonly feel and created an energetic space in which owners and pets could energetically connect.
Patti will be offering her series on Animal Communication and Healing at Anastasia's Health Happenings in Amesbury:
June 10th, Saturday--Animal Communication 101
June 11th, Sunday--You, Your Pet, and Your Spirit Animals
June 17th, Saturday--Animal Healing 101

Our Health and Safety Trainings for Colony Foods of Lawrence continued today addressing topics of Accident and Injury Prevention. The State of Massachusetts provides Safety Grants for Massachusetts companies designed at keeping employees healthy and safe in the workplace, and Colony Foods was awarded one of its grants this year.
Colony Foods already has strong safety trainings in place, specifically addressing the complex systems and machinery it utilizes daily. As site manager George Abdullah and I discussed how best to address the topic, George noted how most accidents and injuries were "due to being stupid, to not paying attention, to not having your head in the game."
Indeed, did you know that a recent scientific study showed that 47% of the time, people are thinking of something other than what they are doing? Think of that next time you are in a meeting, or driving down the road! Distraction can easily be seen as a leading cause of car accidents and work place accidents.
We created "Mindful Accident and Injury Prevention" with the goal of introducing Mindfulness into the workplace and creating an awareness of how pervasive inattention is. Mindfulness brings us to the here and now, and enables acute awareness of ourselves, our actions, and our environment--and this awareness can be used to improve safety in the workplace and in our daily lives.
For more information about Mindfulness Training and how it may be useful for you or your business, please contact us at Anastasia's Health Happenings.
The Springtime Psychic Fair was held at the Elks Lodge in Dover NH today, and Patti Anastasia of Anastasia's Health Happenings offered her Signature Gemstone Readings to a delighted audience. The event had about 15-20 vendors, offering spiritual readings, healing treatments, jewelry, potions, and other holistic wares. Patti did gemstone readings for a number of clients...as well as their pets! Yes, as a Reiki Master, Medical Intuit, and Spiritual Medium, she also enjoys skills as an Animal Communicator and Healer. Through her gemstones, which were selected through the pet owner's intent, Patti was able to connect with the pet's individual energy and give the pet's owner insight to their animals thoughts, behaviors, and spirit.
Patti will be sharing her Animal Communication and Healing Skills at the Web of Light Expo in Nashua NH over the weekend of April 22-23rd. For those interested, please contact Patti at Anastasia's Health Happenings, or visit www.WOLF.com for information about Web of Light Events.
Back again with that group of fabulous early childhood teachers at Village Nursery School in Harvard, MA. Keeping up with their CPR and First Aid Trainings is a yearly job--but they make it a fun after-work get together with snacks and child-appropriate drinks! American Heart Association Pediatric Heartsaver CPR and First Aid classes are great for any child care group!
In a continued series of trainings, made possible through the Massachusetts Safety Grant Program, caregivers from the Home Health Connection in Amesbury MA attended our training today entitled "Safe Approach to Violent Patients." The Home Health Connection trains caregivers to become Home Health Aids and Certified Nursing Assistants through its office in Amesbury MA. Many of its employees work in home care, nursing home, or hospital settings. Thank you to Donna Gilford for caring enough about your workers to provide this training to protect their safety!
This training was designed by David Wahl MD with the goal of preventing conflict, managing conflict appropriately, and keeping caregivers and healthcare workers safe in the workplace.
Did you know that over 70% of workplace violence takes place in the healthcare system? Most every nurse and personal care giver has experienced violent outbursts, either verbal or physical, from their clients or their client's families--or will at some point in their careers..
Each caregiver has 5 Unique Personal Response Tools they can use at all times to manage a conflict: Your Patience, Your Perspective, Your Knowledge, Your Experience, and Your Creativity.

Always great to re-visit with my friends at Aero Manufacturing in Beverly! They have a group of 10 individuals who are their "on-site first responders" for any medical emergency. And they take these American Heart Association CPR and First Aid Trainings seriously, and keep their certifications current!
This year, it was CPR and AED training. We even got their own AED off the wall and went over its proper use in an emergency.
Thank you to my great friend, Vali Stevens, for her hard work in keeping this emergency response group ready-to-respond!
Yesterday was more CPR, and today was First Aid. Getting ready for any medical emergency--from delivery drivers, to warehouse muscles and managers, to the paper pushers! Indeed, everyone should be ready to respond to a medical emergency like a heart attack, cardiac arrest, or choking situation (which are all covered in the American Heart Association Heartsaver Trainings). This is information they can use to keep fellow employees safe on the job, and information they can take home with them to keep their families safe as well. More trainings ahead, which will focus on Accident and Injury Prevention--and all trainings made available to the company for FREE through the Massachusetts State Safety Grant Program. For more information about the Massachusetts State Safety Grant Program, contact us or visit their website through this link.
One of my favorite visits is to Orthodontist, Dr Cardarelli's Office, in Haverhill MA. Not for the dental work--luckily I'm not in need of the fantastic tooth re-guiding and straightening that he and his staff provides--but for their regular CPR re-certification!
We have been invited to provide their American Heart Association CPR/BLS trainings for a number of years now, and we always have a great time! His staff is vibrant, attentive, and always willing to have fun with our mannequins!
Yes, the American Heart Association changes its CPR guidelines every so often, so there is usually something new to learn...but to know how to administer lifesaving CPR before the paramedics arrive is a skill that cannot be over-practiced! Also, reviewing techniques for helping various choking scenarios--from the infant, the adult, the pregnant woman, wheelchair bound, and the extra-large--reminds us all how to respond emergently to those we care for and care with every day.
Colony Foods in Lawrence MA has been a strong contributor to the area food scene for over 100 years. This year, they qualified for a Massachusetts State Safety Grant that provides Health and Safety Trainings for its employees...Congratulations to Colony Foods, and to George Abdullah for his contribution!
Today, it was CPR Training. An eager group employees undertook our American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR Training course--complete with play-time with our mannequins. Ready for Cardiac Arrest, Heart Attack, and Choking scenarios, Colony Foods is making its company and its employees that much safer!
